Initially, when my wife and I started to work with Gordy and his team, we had decided that my wife and I were going to do a bit of work on the house before we listed it on the market.

I have a chronic back injury from serving in Iraq back in 2008 and these little projects we needed to do at the house turned into a lot of disagreement between my back and me. Though my wife was a superstar getting the things done that she could handle, I slowed down the entire sale of our house because of my back pain.

Eventually, I called Gordy and asked if he could meet me at the house we were selling and see if we could get a list of "must-have-done" so I could try and get a plan together in light of my injury.

Instead, what ended up happening was; Gordy cared about my personal well-being, and after we spoke a little bit about the nature of my back injury, Gordy worked out a plan to where I didn't have to do any of the things on the list AND sold our house for way more than we had anticipated.

I only want to work with this team when it comes to buying or selling a home. Gordy has proven that he cares, without even trying to pitch the whole "I am a salesman... And I care about you" routine.
