Mercer Island

Mercer Island is located just east of Seattle on Lake Washington, connecting Seattle and the Eastside with the I-90 Bridge. The Island is mostly comprised of upscale residential neighborhoods and has an abundance of waterfront properties! Access to Downtown Seattle from Mercer Island is extremely quick and easy, although it wasn’t always. Before 1940, a ferryboat used to be the only way to cross from Seattle to Mercer Island. Mercer Island is located in the prime location for working in Seattle or the Eastside. From MI, west on I-90 takes you to Seattle, home of Amazon and dozens of tech companies. East on I-90 brings you to the Eastside, where the Microsoft, Expedia, and T-Mobile Headquarters are all located, along with many more tech companies. Mercer Island upkeeps a strong, vibrant community. The Mercer Island School district is ranked as the top school district in the state. Because of its separation from the bustling city, the Island is a relatively quiet place to live. Residents enjoy their views of the water and focus on their safe community and tight-knit atmosphere.
